2. Eligibility and Student Requirements

Students must meet all applicable eligibility requirements for the services they request.

Students are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and for obtaining and maintaining any permits, licenses, documentation, or other credentials required by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (“NJ MVC”) or applicable law.

Parents or legal guardians may be required to provide consent or participate in enrollment or service arrangements for students who are minors.

Pro Tech Driving Academy reserves the right to refuse or reschedule instruction when a student does not meet applicable legal, safety, or program requirements.

3. Driving Instruction and Safety

Driving is an inherently safety-sensitive activity.

Students are expected to follow all instructions provided by their instructor and comply with applicable traffic laws and safety requirements.

Instructors may postpone, interrupt, modify, or terminate a lesson when they reasonably determine that continuing instruction would create an unsafe condition.

Examples may include, but are not limited to:

• Unsafe weather or road conditions
• Mechanical or vehicle safety concerns
• Student behavior that creates a safety risk
• Failure to follow instructor directions
• Impairment
• Failure to provide required documentation
• Any other condition that reasonably affects the safety of the student, instructor, passengers, or public

4. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately toward instructors, employees, other students, and members of the public.

Pro Tech Driving Academy may refuse or discontinue services when a student engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.

Students must not operate a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, or any other substance that may affect their ability to drive safely.

5. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments are subject to availability.

Students are responsible for arriving on time and being ready for their scheduled lesson.

If a student is late, the available instructional time may be reduced depending on the circumstances.

Pro Tech Driving Academy may establish separate cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and refund policies for individual services or programs.

Where a separate written service agreement or enrollment agreement contains different terms concerning scheduling, cancellation, payment, or refunds, that agreement will control to the extent permitted by law.

6. Pricing and Payments

Prices for services are subject to change.

The price applicable to a student will generally be the price communicated at the time of booking, enrollment, or purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment and contact information and for paying all applicable charges associated with the services they request.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments, and related charges may be governed by the applicable service agreement or cancellation policy provided to the customer at the time of purchase or enrollment.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate or limit any rights a customer may have under applicable New Jersey or federal law.

8. Road Test Preparation

Pro Tech Driving Academy may provide road-test preparation and related instruction.

Completion of a Pro Tech Driving Academy lesson or program does not guarantee that a student will pass a New Jersey road test.

The decision to issue a driver’s license, learner’s permit, examination result, or other credential rests with the appropriate governmental authority.

9. No Guarantee of Driving Results

Driving instruction is intended to help students develop knowledge, skills, confidence, and safe driving habits.

However, Pro Tech Driving Academy does not guarantee that a student will:

• Pass a road test
• Obtain a driver’s license
• Receive a learner’s permit
• Achieve a particular test score
• Avoid accidents or traffic violations
• Become an experienced driver after a particular number of lessons

Individual results depend on numerous factors, including the student’s ability, practice, judgment, experience, preparation, and compliance with applicable laws.

10. Door-to-Door Transportation

When door-to-door pickup or transportation is included or arranged as part of a service, pickup and drop-off times may vary because of traffic, weather, road conditions, prior appointments, and other circumstances.

Students and parents or guardians should ensure that the pickup and drop-off information provided to Pro Tech Driving Academy is accurate.

Pro Tech Driving Academy may modify or discontinue transportation when safety or operational conditions require it.

11. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information on the Website.

However, Website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, typographical errors, or information that has not yet been updated.
